The Meadows

The Lower Meadow

Looking to the east in the lower meadow
A view to the north-east and the peaceful glen seat
Looking to the north and the entrance to the middle meadow
Tucker coming down from the middle meadow
A view to the north-west and the hidden ridge line
Looking to the west from near the hammock
Tucker is sitting next to the sign for my friend Michael
This was originally a two-seater for the Vadis school
Deer are everywhere---except where Tucker is!
This is a very small shelf fungus that looked like a sea shell
View down the strip mine road that runs along the east border of our property
The strip road is now open along the complete length of our property

The Middle Meadow

Entrance to the southernmost corner of the middle meadow
Looking to the northwest and approaching some bad errosion
There are a couple of places that need a lot of remidiation work
The meadow starts to open up
You can really be completely alone up here
we have a couple of nice milkweed patches and a ton of butterfiels
We cann this the popcorn flower and it is quite pretty
This is the start of the White Trail
The White Trail heads up the ridge and is a tough climb
This is where I will build the Yellow Trail which will be a little easier that the White Trail
