One afternoon, we ventured onto the hill and shot a few rounds into the hill. Here, I am giving the standard range safety lecture, with our targets visible in the background.

While we started with the small stuff (Ruger Mk II in 22 LR) we quickly graduated up to the 9mm. Nicholas has a good eye and steady hand. He did well for a first time shooter.

Evelyn also did very well with the 9mm. Although the pistol was a little big for her hand. Her best shooting was with the smaller 22 LR.

Jack put us all to same. With his JROTC background, and much previous shooting experience, he took to the 9mm easily. His groupings were all close around the 10 ring, with several in it.
