More Spud Gun Fun
Tucker and I get one of the compressed air guns ready
to fire. Tucker just LOVES to chase the spuds!
Here, Gil fires the handy-dandy handheld gun.
I am helping Nick get the hair-spray-powered gun ready
to fire. This one is a little more complicated to operate.
Nick slaps the plunger on the ignitor and the spud goes
a flying;.
I am probably offering some worthless spud-gun trivia
at this point. To my right is the Big Bertha of my arsenal, which is powered
by compressed air..
After a particularly effective shot, we are all looking
up range.

This is a shot of my first spud gun. It is powered with
White-Rain hairspray and ignited with an electric grill lighter.
Here is my small compressed-air model. The horizontal
tube is the accumulator, which builds up the pressure for the shot.
Here is Big Bertha, which is also powered by a compressed
air charge. The two four-inch tubes lying on the ground act as the accumulator
for this model. There are also interchangeable barrels for different size
projectiles.
