2003 Irish Spring Festival
On Saturday, March 15th, Liz and I Visited lovely Ireland, West Virginia. On that day, the folks of Ireland opened their town for a parade and celbration of Spring and Saint Patrick's Day. (Although, it was THE MOST sober Saint Patrick's Day I have EVER seen!) The entire town is decked in green shamrocks and the parade is one of the best we've seen around here...

There were plenty of young kids to help set the proper
mood.

And what would a public event be without Melvin and Bum
the Wonder Horse?!

Bum and Melvin work so well together you sometimes wonder

Ireland is in the southeast corner of the county, past
Walkersville. So, the Walkersvill VFD is an honored part of the parade.

Truck 42 was loaded with proud company members as they
passed in review.
